Corned Silverside


PREP TIME: 20mins | COOK TIME: 6hrs | SERVES: 6

Expect a beef recipe that is the perfect alternative to a Sunday roast dinner. Leaving you with plenty of leftover beef for easy lunches during the week or a corned beef hash.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 piece silverside corned beef

  • 5 whole cloves

  • 2 bay leaf

  • 1 tbs brown sugar

  • 1 onion chopped

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

  • 1 cup hot water

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place everything into slow cooker, covering the meat with the hot water, and cook on low for 5-6 hours.

  2. Remove from cooker carefully.

  3. Serve immediately or allow to cool and store in refrigerator.
